ATS keyword checker
Paste the job ad and your resume text: see which key terms you match, which are missing, and a plain match score.
Terms you match
Missing from your resume
How it works
Step 1. Paste the job ad — the tool extracts its most frequent meaningful terms.
Step 2. Paste your resume text; terms are matched literally (word forms matter).
Step 3. Add the missing terms only where they are true, then run it again.
What the score means
It is a vocabulary overlap, not a hiring probability. Screening software varies; what most of them share is reading the text — which is why a real-text PDF matters more than a pretty layout. A high score with false claims is worse than a lower score that is honest.
Questions
- How is the score calculated?
- Frequency-weighted overlap between the job ad's key terms and your resume text.
- Should I stuff every missing keyword in?
- No — add only what is genuinely true; stuffing gets penalised.
- Does it store my resume?
- No; the comparison runs in your browser.
